What you should know

Reservation Procedure- Once you have decided on a vacation property we can put a hold on it for 48 hours to allow you time to firm up airline reservations etc. We will email you out a booking form for your completion. On this form we ask for airline information, car rental information and payment information
50% of the booking cost is due at the time of booking with the remainder due at the 60 day mark.

Arrival- upon your arrival you will be met at either the airport or the car rental agency (as decided in advance) we will go with you to the house and show you around and point out anything you may need to know, such as how to turn on the a/c.

Check-in- unless otherwise noted, check in is at 3 pm. If you arrive early we will show you to the house if it is still being cleaned, find you a place to store your luggage to allow you to do a bit of exploring while you wait.

Check-out – Check out time is 11 am. Often we have parties leaving and arriving on the same day so a late check out is not possible. We will endeavor to accommodate you when possible. In cases where the unit is not vacated when required there will be a penalty of an additional days rent.

Security, - while we still boast the lowest crime rate in the Caribbean a little common sense goes a long way. Houses should be locked up at night and when you are away. Many of the villas have safes for your money and your valuables.

Construction- If there is construction in the area at the time of your booking we will tell you about it. However, the island is growing fast and we are not always aware of plans. We therefore cannot give refunds based on construction in the area.

Cancellation Policy- Should you have to cancel for any reason prior to 60 days there will be a $100 charge. Should you wish to cancel after that period no refund can be made. We recommend the purchase of Cancellation insurance.

Additional charges- Internet- except where stated internet charges will be billed to you.
Maids- your rental includes a midweek clean. Additional maid service is available at an additional charge.
Tax- there is a 10% government tax on all our rentals.
Damages- a liability form will be signed on check in and any damages to the house will be charged to the occupant.
Air conditioning- power on the island is about 6 times what it in North America. For this reason many homes have the a/c metered separately to discourage misuse.
Excessive cleaning- if a house is left in a state that requires extensive cleaning those costs will be passed on to the tenant.
